Ingredients:

  • 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 100g desiccated coconut
  • 50g sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

  • Heatproof bowl
  • Spatula
  • Baking dish
  • Parchment paper
  • Refrigerator

Instructions:

  • Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the desiccated coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  • Line a small baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Press the coconut mixture into the bottom of the dish evenly.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the coconut layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  • Refrigerate for about 15 minutes until set.
  • Once set, cut into bars and serve.
